I recently received an email from a former grammar school bud. This cyber reunion blew me away. I realized it was Wayne!
As I read on, I was swept away to a time of innocence. He was the young boy that Dennis would eventually replace!
I remember playing rhythm guitar and John playing drums to Wayne's performance of "On Top of Old Smokey"
We were awful, but at the same time,we were a HIT! He is one of my earliest memories of music.
This is a tribute to Wayne and the power of childhood memories...
